Vanity Lights. Monday , February 26th , 2018 - 15:11:34 PM
Bathroom vanity lights typically include one light or perhaps two or more above the mirror. Or, there may be lights or sconces on each side of the mirror or medicine cabinet and one ceiling light or a row of recessed ceiling lights over the vanity, depending on the size of your vanity and mirror. Make sure your bathroom mirror is evenly illuminated and free of shadows since this is where applying makeup, shaving and other grooming activities will take place. If you have two bathroom vanities, each one should have the same bathroom vanity lights setup.
Dimmers are recommended so you can adjust depending on the time of day or on the task you are trying to complete. Sconces are usually installed on the wall directly in front of the vanity but for best results it is recommended that you install them in pairs. For instance, when one is installed on either side of the mirror they provide the area with ample lighting for all types of vanity tasks. Sconces can be purchased with one or two bulb placements. There are many decorative designs to choose from.
Bathroom vanity lights can be as expensive or inexpensive as your budget will allow. You can choose from fluorescent bulb fixtures, multiple bulb fixtures, primarily decorative fixtures, or those that only accommodate one bulb. If youre simply wanting to change the look of your bathroom, decorative fixtures can be easily and inexpensively found. Just keep in mind that multibulb fixtures are usually more expensive than single bulb fixtures. But this can all vary based on your style, budget and where you are shopping.
